Canada's Top 40 Under 40™ is a national award program, which annually honours 40 Canadians under the age of 40, in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Di Bert and his peers were selected from over 1,200 nominees by an independent advisory board, comprised of 25 business leaders from across Canada. Honourees were chosen based on five key criteria: vision and leadership; innovation and achievement; impact; community involvement and contribution; and strategy for growth.

Di Bert joined Pratt & Whitney Canada's finance team in 2000. Since he assumed the role of Vice President, Finance in 2007, Di Bert's focus has been the creation of stakeholder value. Even during the global recession, he helped the company maintain sound financial performance while launching critical strategic investments. His financial leadership also allowed P&WC to remain amongst Canada's top five research and development investors, with average annual investments of $400 million per year for projects such as the development of high-performance engines that reduce noise, emissions and fuel consumption.
