MEMPHIS, TENNESSE--(CCNMatthews - May 23, 2007) - Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. has signed a four-year Fleet Management Program (FMP®) engine maintenance contract with Gulfstream International Airlines for its fleet of PT6A-67D-powered Beech 1900D twin turboprop aircraft. Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

Under the agreement, P&WC will service 46 installed engines based on its Term Cost Plan (TCPTM), which offers support services selected from a comprehensive menu of options based on a guaranteed hourly fee, paid monthly.

"P&WC's TCP has been tailored to Gulfstream's requirements to allow them to effectively manage maintenance expenses and virtually eliminate the risk of high-cost surprises," said Raffaele Virgili, Vice President, Service Centres, P&WC. "We are delighted to have Gulfstream on board as our FMP continues to grow in popularity with our customers."

Dave Hackett, President of Gulfstream, said the agreement with P&WC offers the company peace of mind when it comes to MRO costs, which represent a major component of aircraft operations. "We look forward to working closely with P&WC in support of our ongoing PT6 maintenance requirements," he said. Gulfstream operates more than 200 daily departures from its base in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to its innovative engine maintenance programs, P&WC's global customer support comprises over 30 P&WC-owned and designated overhaul facilities, field support representatives strategically located on all major continents, mobile repair teams available around the clock, the largest pool of P&WC rental and exchange engines in the industry and advanced diagnostic capabilities.
