Pratt & Whitney Canada Opens New Singapore Parts Distribution Centre

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 12, 2007) - Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), a United Technologies (NYSE:UTX) company, has opened its new Singapore parts distribution centre to help accelerate part deliveries to customers in the Pacific Rim Region.

"With our new Singapore parts distribution centre (PDC), and the opening of our Amsterdam PDC last November for customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, we are delivering additional value in terms of speed and efficiency," said Maria Della Posta, Vice President, Customer Support, P&WC. The Singapore PDC, managed by the P&W Component Solutions group on a 24-7 basis, offers a large inventory of new parts and exchange accessories for all P&WC engine models. The new facility has assumed responsibility for part orders previously processed through P&WC (SEA) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and P&WC (A'Asia) Pty. Ltd. in Brisbane, Australia, centres of excellence in engine repair and overhauls.

P&WC's global customer support network also includes a newly launched Customer First Centre for 24-7 frontline assistance, over 30 P&WC-owned and designated service facilities, field representatives on all major continents, mobile repair teams available around the clock, the largest pool of P&WC rental and exchange engines in the industry and advanced diagnostic capabilities.
