EBACE: Pratt & Whitney Canada Signs Major Engine Maintenance Contract with Air Methods Corp.

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--(CCNMatthews - May 23, 2007) - Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC), a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company, has signed a new five-year contract with Air Methods Corporation (NASDAQ:AIRM) to maintain engines for its fleet of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

"This major contract renews and extends a previous maintenance contract and confirms our leadership in servicing the emergency medical services market," said Raffaele Virgili, Vice President, Service Centres, P&WC. "This contract currently covers some 100 P&WC engines, and we expect it to grow to 200 engines as Air Methods expands its fleet of emergency air medical aircraft."

Under the contract, P&WC will provide engine maintenance and accessory coverage for P&WC engines powering Air Methods' helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. These include PT6T, PW206B, PW206B2 and PW207E engines for various models of Bell, Eurocopter and MD helicopters and PT6A-28, PT6A-42 and PT6-67B engines for Air Methods' Beech and Pilatus aircraft.

Air Methods Corporation, based in Denver, Colorado, is a leader in emergency aeromedical transportation and medical services.
