EBACE: Pratt & Whitney Canada Appoints Standard Aero Designated Overhaul Facility for Certified PW600 Engines

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--(CCNMatthews - May 22, 2007) - Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. is building on its industry-leading global customer support by appointing Standard Aero (Alliance), Inc. as a designated overhaul facility (DOF) for its PW615F and PW610F engines. Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

"We are delighted that Standard Aero will be the first independent DOF to provide operators of PW615- and PW610-powered aircraft with an additional option for reliable repair and overhaul services," said Maria Della Posta, Vice President, Customer Support, P&WC.

Standard Aero will perform maintenance, repairs and overhaul services on the PW615F and PW610F engine models at its facility in Maryville, Tenn., USA. It will also provide rapid-response mobile repair teams to support operators in the field at locations in the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia. The Standard Aero DOF will be operational to service the PW615F and PW610F engines by the end of June 2007.
